Dr. Adrienne Ethier has over 25 years of professional and academic experience, and is currently an Environmental Risk Assessment Specialist at the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC).  She also serves as a Technical Secretary and subject matter expert for ICRP, radiological monitoring and risk assessment subject matter expert for the IAEA, member of UNSCEAR public exposure working group, Canadian Federal Nuclear Science and Technology (FNST) Environment and Waste Research Co-Chair, and as an Adjunct Professor at Sherbrooke University.  She is also an active participant on several Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Technical Committees on environmental and effluent monitoring, environmental risk assessment, and fish impingement and entrainment.


Dr. Ethier brings a balanced perspective to the development (CSA), implementation (Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL)) and regulation (CNSC) of Canadian and International Standards from having served as a licensee (CNL), consultant (Arcadis, Calian) and regulator (CNSC, Environment and Climate Change Canada) on a broad range of provincial, national and international projects.
