Once again, thanks to the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC), ICRP has a full-time and fully funded resource. The intern program not only provides professional and educational growth for Devon, but affords the Scientific Secretariat an opportunity to more efficiently complete tasks and projects.
Devon, a native of Oshawa, Ontario, is currently completing a degree in Nuclear Engineering at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. As a member of the CNSC’s co-op program, his placement will be for a term of four months. With his previous posts in different areas of CNSC, we are eager and excited for Devon’s experiences and insight to be brought to our team. As the ICRP is primarily funded through voluntary contributions from organisations with an interest in radiological protection, we are grateful to the CNSC for providing this resource.
