ICRP Welcomes New Intern: Julie Reyjal

2017-05-03

On May 1st, ICRP welcomed Julie Reyjal to the Scientific Secretariat team.

Similar to past situations, the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) have graciously provided this resource cost-free.  However, Julie comes to the Secretariat already an accomplished Radiation and Health Sciences Officer in the Radiation and Health Sciences Division, Directorate of Environmental and Radiation Protection and Assessment, Technical Support Branch of the Canadian government.

A native of New Brunswick, Julie has completed a BSc in Biochemistry and Biology from Mount Allison University, as well as her Masters in Biochemistry from the Université de Moncton.

While at ICRP, Julie will be working with Dr. Gayle Woloschak and her research team at Northwestern University doing data mining in order to investigate Dose and Dose-Rate Effectiveness Factor (DDREF).

Once again, thank you to the CNSC for their partnership, collaboration, and support.

Welcome Julie!
