ICRP Welcomes New Intern: Laila Omar-Nazir

2017-09-12

On September 5th, ICRP welcomed Laila Omar-Nazir to the Scientific Secretariat team.

Similar to past situations, the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) have graciously provided this resource cost-free.  This is her second four-month post in the CNSC co-op program, after previously completing eight months at Ontario Power Generation, working out of the Darlington Station in Bowmnaville, Ontario.

A native of Newmarket, Laila is in her fourth year at McMaster Univeristy, with one more semester left before a BSc in Medical and Health Physics.

While at ICRP, Laila will be assisting in the completion of various tasks, including learning objectives for future students in the program.

Once again, thank you to the CNSC for their partnership, collaboration, and support.

Welcome Laila!
