Cousins Award Finalists Announced

Established by former ICRP Chair Dr Claire Cousins on her retirement from ICRP, this award recognises the best presentation by a young scientist or professional at an ICRP International Symposium on the System of Radiological Protection. Eligibility is restricted to those within 5 years of having been awarded a postgraduate degree.

• Amy MacIntosh, Macquarie University & Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO), Australia. Abstract 942 - To Leave or Not to Leave: A Tiered Assessment of the Impacts of Scale Residue From Decommissioned Offshore Oil and Gas Infrastructure in Australia

All finalists are scheduled to give a live, in-person presentation (10 minutes including Q&A) during the session "The Next Generation of Scientists & Professionals" at ICRP 2023 in Tokyo, Japan from 6-9 November 2023.
